The Organizing Committee has just confirmed that the 19th International Symposium on Olefin Metathesis and Related Chemistry (ISOM XIX) will take place in Rennes, Bretagne, France, from July 10 to July 15, 2011.
An ISOM conference is held every two years in varied locations across the world to cover the latest developments in olefin metathesis. The series of ISOM meetings have played an important role in the progress of metathesis and provided an opportunity for major scientists and industrial leaders involved in this rapidly developing field to meet on a regular basis.
Previous meetings have been held in Leipzig (2009), Pasadena (2007), Poznan (2005), Kyoto (2003), Boston (2001), Kerkrade (1999), St. Augustine (1997), Durham (1995), Tihany (1993), Collegeville (1991), Bayreuth (1989), Hull (1987), Hamburg (1985), Graz (1983), Belfast (1981), Lyon (1979), Amsterdam (1977), and Mainz (1976).
So mark your calendars and stayed tuned for further details on ISOM XIX!
